Last year, Mr dan Mrs. Jones and their family went to the seaside for their summer holidays. They left the city very early in the morning on the 31st of July. The weather was not very fine and they wore their overcoats because they felt cold. At 10 o'clock, the sun began to shine, and two hours later, when I met them at the station the sun was shining brightly. They took off their overcoats and we all went to the same restaurant where we sat down to a good lunch. We ate fish and some very good mutton, and drank two bottles of excellent wine.
After lunch, we went to the sea, which my little girl Betty saw for the first time. We lay in the sun for two hours and then we went into the water which was very warm. When we came out of the water, the sun burnt us, so we sat down in the shade of some rocks. Mr. Jones lit a cigarette and I read the newspaper.
Then we all went back to our hotel. Mrs. Jones wrote a few letters and postcards, whilst Mr. Jones and I played a game of billiards.
After dinner, we went out and saw the sun set in a bright red sky. Then we went to bed, and slept very well.
The next morning, I awoke late, got up and had breakfast. My little girl wanted to fo into the sea again, but the wind blew so hard that it was not possible to bathe. We went out, however, and stood and looked at the sea for some time. It was very beautiful. I told Betty to hold her hat, but she held it only for a minute or two and then let it go. The wind blew it off, and away it went. A small boy brought it back to us and I have him 5 p
That was not all. When we were going back to the hotel. Betty fell down, tore her dress and cut her hand. The day began badly for her.
In the afternoon, the wind stopped and we went on the pier where we heeard a very good concert.
I met some friends and asked them to come with us for a walk along the cliffs. We went for a long walk which the children enjoyed very much. The end of the day was better than the beginning.

Last week my friend and I were bored after three weeks of holidays, so we rode our bikes to Pasir Kencana Beach, which is only five kilometres from where I live. When we arrived at the beach, we were surprised to see there was hardly anyone there.
After having a quick dip in the ocean, which was really cold, we realized one reason there were not many people there. It was also quite windy. After we bought some hot chips at the takeaway store nearby, we rode our bikes down the beach for a while, on the hard, damp part of the sand. We had the wind behind us and, before we knew it, we were many miles down the beach.
Before we made the long trip back, we decided to paddle our feet in the water for a while, and then sit down for a rest. While we were sitting on the beach, just chatting, it suddenly dawned on us that all the way back, we would be riding into the strong wind.
When we finally made it back home, we were both totally exhausted! But we learned some good lessons that day.
Two weeks ago, me and my family went to Semarang on holiday. We went there by car. We stayed at Star Hotel for three days.
On the first evening, I swam at the rooftop pool. It was very high up. It even holds the record for the highest rooftop pool in Indonesia. Next to the pool was a bar. We had a wonderful evening.
After we swam, we prepared ourselves to visit Simpang Lima. We had dinner there and rode a tandem bike. We played till 10.00! Even then the place was still full of people.
The next morning, I woke up quite late. Nevertheless we still swam. Then we went to Lawang Sewu, and then the Sam Poo Kong temple. I can't say it enough. IT WAS MAGNIFICENT!!
Then we went to Kampung Laut to eat. But, the plan was cancelled due to the frsutrating circumstances. Then we ate at a small place. We ate fried rice and noodle.
When we got back to the hotel, it was already 04.00 pm. We decided to swim again. It wasn't as crowded as last time we swam. This time, my mom also swam.
Then, at night we went to a mall near the hotel. We ate dinner and bought some underwear. (humiliating -_-)
The next morning, we settled back to Jogja. On the way, we bought some meatball tofu. Then we continued our journey.

Last week, me and my family went to XXI in Kuningan city mall of Jakarta. When we arrived at the mall, we directly rushed to XXI cinema and bought the tickets. After we bought the tickets, we went to have lunch. We had our lunch in Ichiban sushi. We checked the time and it's our turn to watch so we decided to hurry and go to the cinema. Not long later the lamps was turned off and the movie began. During the movie, I felt something or someone touched me. I was curious so I looked behind. I saw a shadow of a man without the person. I thought my minds was playing tricks with me so i just forget about the shadow and enjoyed the movie. After the movie finished, I asked my mother and father whether they had felt someone touched them. They said that they also felt the same. Suddenly, a nearby lamp explodes by itself! Me and my family was really shocked and ran away to the parking lot. We rushed home as fast as we can. At home, I did a research about the cinema and found out that there was a person called Mr. Jenovocic who died during the fire in the cinema. When I read the review, people said that his shadow and soul never left the cinema and always appear on 23rd May, the day he died. I also found out that 23rd May was the day when I and my family went there. I faced left and right to check if there are any shadows. Fortunately, there are no shadows. But, I forgot to face behind. When I faced behind I saw a shadow and went into a coma for two whole days. When I woke up I realized that shadow was my own shadow.
